I originally recorded and released these interviews as Lady’s After Hours podcast for Lady, which I co-founded. Wanting to focus solely on my work as a historian and on the podcast, I have now rebranded the podcast as Sighs & Whispers. In 2006 I started a fashion and cultural history blog called Sighs & Whispers, which was really my first small step into becoming a historian—it feels right to return to that name with these oral histories.
